Once you have arrived and made yourself comfortable at the hotel, then you should start your travel by going to the Heart Point. It is situated on the north-western edge of Matheran and is a well-known Vantage point that offers views of beautiful flora, low lying plains and villages.
Panorama Point is just 2.4 kms from here and by virtue of its dense woods and serenity, the site is popular among tourists as well as locals and is a paradise for nature lovers. 
Sunset Point and Louisa Point are other destinations of the day. Louisa Point is famous point for its waterfall.
Little Chowk point which gives a splendid view of the valley and has a huge Ganesha idol which is prayed to earnestly by the locals at occasional times. This point is not very far from the main market place and thus after visiting this point you can enjoy the night, shopping and eating local food in the market place. Stay in MG Road.

Rambaug Point offers a lovely scenic view of the valleys and while visiting the same you may also visit the Alexander Point, which is known for its small shop which sells watermelon slices, cu-cumber and coconut along with a spectacular view of the valley and the hills.
Thereafter you can head over to the Charlotte lake and this shall be the highlight of your visit. You can either walk till the lake or you may take a horse. There is a big waterfall which is refreshing to see after all the trekking done. You can also see Morabe dam, Prabal fort and Kalavantin ridge, echo point, honeymoon point and Malang point from this area. You can enjoy and relax your day here near the lake with an amazing view and weather. Pisarnath Temple also situated nearby the Lake, it is a very famous temple. Back to the hotel in the evening.

After checking out from the hotel at 8.30 am, you can visit the highlight of your trip which is the Prabalgad fort which was previously known as the Muranjan until it was renamed by the Marathas. It stands at an elevation of 2,300 feet in the Western Ghats and supplements a wonderful view of Matheran. You can click a whole load of beautiful pictures at this scenic point. 
After having lunch, at a local eatery you can head back to the hotel, collect your luggage and head back to the Matheran Railway Station for your departure. This will surely be a trip which will be engraved in your heart forever.
